 Dr. Marinos Vasilas was born and raised in Rhodes and is the son of Vasileios Vasilas and Foteini Pharmakidou. He completed his specialization in urology at the University General Hospital of Patras with a focus on laparoscopic urology and endourology under the supervision of Professor Evangelos Liatsikos.

 He is a member of the European Association of Urology, the Hellenic Urological Association, and the Laboratory of Research and Development in Endourology of the University of Patras. He is also a doctoral candidate at the University of Patras with a research focus on "Comparative study of the clinical efficacy of Thulium Laser in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia in relation to transurethral resection".

 Mr. Vasilas has participated in the presentation of numerous publications and announcements at Greek, European, and global conferences, as well as in the most credible foreign-language urological journals.
